I ride to normalize talking about mental health.

When I was young, I remember hearing my parents’ friends taking about people who had (whisper voice) cancer. No one would say the word out loud. Now people boldly tell you they are cancer survivors! They no longer whisper. They no longer hide. Instead they help others by sharing their stories. And they even call themselves Cancer Warriors.

I want people to speak boldly about their mental health issues. I want people to meet us along our route, tell us their stories, and become Mental Health Warriors. I want to help create a world where suicide is never a choice. That is why I am involved with the Jordan Elizabeth Harris Foundation. I #Ride4 all people who will be Mental Health Warriors.
